The story
The Model D was a large standard tractor built by John Deere for thirty years, from 1923 to 1953. Unlike the other letter-series John Deere tractors, it never moved to a number name and stayed the D throughout.
It weighed around 5,000 lb and produced about 22.5 hp at the drawbar, with a drawbar pull of more than 3,200 lb. When production finally ended, the Model R took its place as John Deere's big standard tractor.
No John Deere Model D listings yet. Dealers and private sellers will be able to list them here soon.
