The story

The Model M was a two-cylinder row-crop tractor that John Deere built from 1947 to 1952. It was a light machine of about 2,600 lb.

When production ended, the M was followed by the 40, then the 420 and 430. The smaller 320 and 330 were later added to fill the gap left as the 400-series models grew more powerful, and the family ran until 1960.
