The story

The Oliver 1900 was a large, powerful tractor built by the Oliver Farm Equipment Company between 1960 and 1964. It weighed around 12,000 lb and used a supercharged four-cylinder diesel engine supplied by General Motors.

The tractor was produced in three separate series during its short life. In tests it produced almost 83 hp at the drawbar and could pull more than 12,000 lb, figures that placed it firmly at the heavy end of the market in the early 1960s.

Did you knowIts diesel engine came from General Motors rather than Oliver, and it was supercharged.
