The story
The ZT 320 was built by the East German tractor works at Schönebeck from 1983 until 1990, taking over from the ZT 300 series. Where the older range had been offered in several forms, the new one was kept to just two: the ZT 320 with rear-wheel drive and the ZT 323 with drive to all wheels.
Its engine gave 74 kW at the flywheel, and road speeds ran from 1.4 to just over 30 km/h. It was a big machine, nearly five metres long and over three metres tall to the top of the exhaust.
