The story

The Super 44 was a small utility tractor built to sit alongside Oliver's heavier row-crop and standard models. Like a row-crop machine, its wheel track could be set to suit the spacing of crop rows.

The front axle, though, was only ever offered with a wide track, with no narrow front option, which made it steadier when fitted with a front loader. It used a four-cylinder Continental engine, was rated for two ploughs, and was followed by the Oliver 440.

Did you knowOliver offered no narrow front end on the Super 44, which made it a steadier base for a front loader.
