The story
Valtra's N Series is the Finnish maker's mid-size range, and the fifth generation went into production at the Suolahti factory in early 2021, with the public launch that April. The N175 sits at the top.
Its 4.9-litre AGCO Power four-cylinder makes 165 hp as standard, but Sigma Power lifts that to 201 hp when the PTO is working hard, which Valtra says made it the only four-cylinder tractor to reach 200 hp. Buyers choose a level of controls: HiTech, Active, Versu or the stepless Direct.
The Active keeps mechanical spool levers and a simple A-pillar display, while the Versu uses the SmartTouch armrest. A test by the Irish Farmers Journal found it used noticeably less fuel than the older N142 it replaced.
No Valtra N175 Active listings yet. Dealers and private sellers will be able to list them here soon.
