The story
The C-360 took over from the C-355 in 1976 as the bigger partner to the little C-330, aimed at heavier field and haulage work on Polish farms. It used a 3.1-litre four-cylinder Ursus diesel of 52 hp, a five-speed gearbox with a reduction range giving ten forward speeds, and the simple, robust layout that made Ursus tractors common across the Eastern Bloc.
After Ursus took a licence from Massey Ferguson and Perkins in the 1970s, a C-360-3P version with a three-cylinder Perkins engine was added from 1981, using less fuel and running more quietly. Production ran until 1994, and the name was revived by the modern Ursus company in 2015 on a new tractor.
